Step 1 of 7The Dashboard (Shop Floor)

This is your Shop Floor

Every job in the shop, on one screen. Cards move from left to right as work progresses — Quote → Approved → Prepress → Production → Finishing → Shipping → Invoice/Complete → Archived. The chips across the top count each stage.

What to do

Take a look. The columns represent the stages a job goes through, and the header shows how many jobs are on the board. Each column can be sorted — by due date, price, job number, or name.

Why it matters

At a glance you can see how busy each stage is, which jobs are stuck, and what's heading to production next.

Each card is one job

A card shows the customer, job number, what's being printed, the quantities, the due date, and the price. Quote cards show their age instead of a due date — and after 30 days without a decision, an amber Follow up chip.

What to do

Click any card to open the job — line items, files, proofs, shipping, customer info, and history. The expand icon opens it as a full page.

Why it matters

You never have to hunt for the details of a job. Everything is right where you saw the card.

Late work turns red

A job past its due date gets a light red card, a red border, and a red stripe down the left edge, and its due date reads (overdue). A job due in the next few days shows its date in amber.

What to do

Scan the board for red. Quotes never go red — they age instead — and finished or archived work can't be late.

Why it matters

The job that's about to cost you a customer stands out from across the room.

Drag cards to update status

When work moves from one stage to the next, drag the card to the new column — or use the next-stage button on the card. Moving into Production deducts inventory; moving to Invoice/Complete closes out any open operations.

What to do

Try dragging a card from Approved to Prepress. Customer notifications (if you've enabled them) go out automatically.

Why it matters

Status updates ripple instantly — to the customer portal, to your reports, and to anyone else looking at the board.

Search anything

The search bar at the top finds jobs by number, customer, PO, project name, material — anything you remember about it. The Quote column keeps expired and stale quotes behind a Show N expired/stale toggle so the live ones stay visible.

What to do

Type a customer name or job number. Results filter in real time across every column.

Why it matters

Faster than scrolling. Especially when the board has hundreds of cards.

The side menu is grouped

+ New Quote is the one button that starts a quote. Below it the menu is grouped: Sales (Quotes, AI Quote, Customers, Company Stores), Production (Production, Bulk Shipping), Purchasing (Inventory, Purchase Orders, Suppliers), and Insights (Reports). Shop Settings is at the bottom.

What to do

Click Quotes for every open quote, or the chevron beside it for the specialty lists — Booklet, Wrap, Cut Vinyl, and Channel Letter quotes. The Audit Trail now lives in Shop Settings → System. The moon icon beside Collapse switches dark mode.

Why it matters

Everything that starts work is in one place, and everything that lists work is in another — so you always know which click does what.
